Description
There are around 92 species of peacock spiders and they can all jump up to 10 centimetres (that’s 40 times their body size). They have a fantasic mating ritual as they attract a female which includes dancing and manipulating their abdominal flaps. These spiders don’t build webs and their diet consists almost entirely of insects and other spiders!
